
I haven't posted in forever. I don't know why.... i just really haven't been up to it. When i get on the computer I spend most of my time looking at wedding stuff/ideas or looking at sites where people have their own baking business. That is where my heart is and what i would truly LOVE to do. If they can do it so can I ..... I just have to figure out the way.
On the weight loss front I passed the 20 lb mark and forgot to post.... When I weighed this am I am down 22lbs. I know that sounds like a lot but I want to lose MORE!!!!! and I want it NOW!!!! Yes I have been in a funk lately and kinda down. The job is really getting to me...but that is another story for another time and place.
I have my 1st fill in a couple of weeks so i hope i will start loosing a little quicker after that. But at the same time I know it can take several fills before you hit that sweet spot and really start to lose. We will see I guess.
I am going to see Robert Plant , yes I know my kids have told me I am obsessed :) , on July 23rd with a friend of mine Mary Ford ( another RP obsessed soul ) I set a goal back when i first had this done to lose 40 lbs by the concert. I guess I have made a good chunk in that goal but lets pick it up people!!!!
If my hip didn't give me so much damn trouble i would start walking. I have treadmill after all. But right now that really isn't an option. Also I am hoping when I see Dr. Carter in June he will release me to do some exercise with weights. I looked into getting a stationary recumbent bike but that doesn't look like it will happen soon. The ones that I want are expensive!!! Holy Moly!!! Stacy and I are going to start going to my grandparents and using their pool. It is heated 365 days out of the year. We are gonna get some water weights and go for it :) That should not be a problem on my hip and I will still be able to get some exercise. She also has a home gym she and her husband bought and never even took out of the box. I am going to buy that from her. I just have to get it to my house, find out where the hell i am gonna put it and get my son to put it together for me.
ok it is just about time for Biggest Loser so I'm gonna wrap this up ( BTW I bought several of their cookbooks and last week we tried one of the recipes. BBQ chicken pizza. It was yummy, my oldest son liked it and the youngest said " it's ok" IF only I could find things to cook besides roast that they BOTH like )

Just remember you didn't put it on over night, your not going to lose it over night. 22 lbs in one month is a lot! Keep it up, stay focused and don't get down on yourself..
